FREEHOLD, N.J., June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Mobile Homes, Inc. (Amex: UMH) announced the promotion of Thomas N. Stewart to Vice President of Community Operations and Christine Lindsey to Vice President of Sales Operations. Mr. Stewart and Ms. Lindsey will use their experience and expertise to increase occupancy through new sales and to upgrade and expand the Company's communities.

Mr. Stewart started his career with the Company in 1976 as a Community Manager. He was promoted to Regional Manager of the eastern Pennsylvania region in 1990 and to Regional Vice President in 1993. Mr. Stewart has been a member of the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association for 25 years.

Ms. Lindsey started her career with the Company in 1979 as a Community Manager. She was promoted to Tennessee Regional Manager in 1990 and to Regional Vice President in 1993. She is a Certified Community Manager. She has served on the State Board of Directors and on the Executive Board of the Tennessee Manufactured Housing Association. Ms. Lindsey is currently President of her local Chapter of the Tennessee Manufactured Housing Association.
